February 2024: Kolbe Coffee desires to raise funds for initiatives
that positively support people in our communities and help coffee farmers
receive fair wages by driving demand for their coffee. I begin seeking a
company who is passionate about my goals and can supply Kolbe Coffee with expertly roasted specialty grade coffee.

March 2024: Kolbe Coffee begins conversations with a coffee industry
leader who worked in Central America more than a decade ago. He connects me with a contact who can help supply Kolbe Coffee with delicious, expertly
roasted coffees.

May 2024: Kolbe Coffee becomes a legally recognized business.

December 2024: The coffee farm cooperative responsible for
Kolbe Coffee’s products officially forms on December 12th, 2024.  The cooperative is a group of 56 coffee producer families in Nicaragua. Kolbe Coffee sources only specialty grade coffees (beans in the top 3% worldwide) directly from farms in this cooperative.

March 2025: A soup kitchen orders coffee from Kolbe Coffee
for the first time. The coffee is served at their soup kitchen locations. A
café begins serving Kolbe Coffee’s products.

May 2025: Kolbe Coffee begins selling bagged coffee at a café. A company with an international audience agrees to sell Kolbe Coffee’s offerings on their website.
